3 POLE FUSE ISOLATOR / SWITCH DISCONNECTOR (AC/DC)
The HR17B is a series of low-voltage fuse-switch disconnectors (or fuse isolators) used primarily in industrial and commercial electrical distribution systems. These devices serve as main power switches, emergency switches, and isolation switches, designed to safely connect, disconnect, and provide overcurrent protection for circuits. Key features of the HR17B series include: - Current & Voltage Ratings: They are designed for standard AC 50Hz circuits with operational voltages up to 690V and rated currents ranging broadly from 40A to 630A. - Safety Features: They feature built-in arc extinguishing chambers and are made of flame-retardant, high-dielectric plastics to safely contain short-circuit faults (typically up to 50kA). - Design: They are typically configured in 2-pole, 3-pole, or 4-pole designs and accommodate knife-edge fuse links (such as NH-type fuses). - Installation: They can be directly mounted on busbars or installed onto flat mounting plates in switchboards or control panels.
