Returns & Refunds Policy

This policy explains how Sir Chubby Business Connect Ltd. handles returns, cancellations, and refunds, subject to applicable Nigerian consumer law and the practical condition of the goods involved.

General approach

We recognise that consumers may have return, cancellation, or refund rights under applicable law, including protections recognised under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act. We review each request in light of the product condition, timing, transaction context, fulfilment status, and any non-excludable legal rights that apply.

Where a legal right to refund, replacement, repair, cancellation, or price adjustment applies and cannot lawfully be excluded, this policy shall be interpreted subject to that right.

When returns may be accepted

Return requests are more likely to be considered where goods are defective, materially different from what was ordered, unfit for the disclosed purpose to the extent required by law, or returned in good condition within a reasonable time and in line with applicable consumer standards.

We may request photographs, serial details, packaging condition, proof of purchase, or other reasonable evidence before approving a return or refund process.

When returns may be limited or refused

Returns may be limited or refused where goods have been used, damaged after delivery, altered, specially ordered, cut-to-specification, custom-sourced, improperly stored, or rendered unsuitable for resale or technical verification, except to the extent otherwise required by law.

Requests based only on a change of mind after fulfilment may be subject to reasonable handling, restocking, transport, or administrative deductions where lawful and commercially justified.

Refund timing and method

Where a refund is approved, we will process it within a commercially reasonable period using the original payment route where practicable or another appropriate method. Timing may depend on payment-provider processing, bank reversal cycles, verification steps, and fraud-prevention checks.

We may delay refund release while verifying delivery status, return condition, transaction legitimacy, identity, or chargeback-related issues.

Cancellations before fulfilment

If you wish to cancel before dispatch, delivery scheduling, or pickup release, contact us as quickly as possible. If the order has not yet entered a committed fulfilment stage, cancellation may be possible in full or subject to reasonable charges where permitted by law.

Where we fail to fulfil a confirmed order for reasons attributable to us, refund handling will be assessed in line with applicable law and the factual order status.

Protective clauses

Nothing in this policy waives any lawful defence, verification right, recovery right, fraud-prevention right, or operational protection available to Sir Chubby Business Connect Ltd. We reserve the right to reject abusive, dishonest, duplicated, unsupported, or bad-faith claims to the fullest extent permitted by law.
